Our 1-Year Fit Guarantee
Every LINGVIDO product is backed for 12 months from the day it ships. If it doesn't fit your vehicle as described, arrives with a manufacturing defect, or the color or material is off — we make it right. Here's exactly what that means.
The promise in one line
For 12 months from your order date, if a LINGVIDO product doesn't fit as described, has a manufacturing defect, or shows a color or material deviation, we will refund, replace, or exchange it — no receipt required. Coverage is automatic; you don't have to register to be covered.
What's covered
Within 12 months of your order date, the 1-Year Fit Guarantee covers:
✓ Fit doesn't match
The product doesn't fit your vehicle the way the listing said it would. If we can't resolve it, you get a 100% refund.
✓ Manufacturing defects
Faulty seams, failed zippers, misplaced airbag tear-seam, or hardware that arrives broken → free replacement of the affected item.
✓ Color or material deviation
The shade or material is meaningfully off from what you ordered (beyond normal screen variation) → exchange or return.
What's not covered
The guarantee covers fit and defects — not the things that come from everyday use or accidents. The following are not covered:
✗ Normal wear & tear
Gradual fading, softening, or surface marks from regular daily use over time. (See our Care & Cleaning guide to extend the life of your cover.)
✗ Pet chewing & scratching
Damage from pets biting, clawing, or digging at the cover. Our fabric is pet-friendly, but it isn't chew-proof.
✗ Accidental or intentional damage
Cuts, burns, spills left untreated, or any damage caused by misuse or mishandling.
✗ Modification & improper install
Cutting, sewing, gluing, or otherwise altering the product, or damage caused by installing it incorrectly or on an unlisted vehicle.
How to make a claim
Claims are simple — no forms to print, no return shipping label to chase down before we've talked.
- Email service@lingvido.net and describe the issue.
- Include your order number (from your confirmation email) so we can find your purchase.
- Attach a photo or two showing the fit issue or defect — this lets us resolve most claims in a single reply.
- We respond within 1–2 business days with the fix: refund, replacement, or exchange.
Want 6 extra months?
Register your order and upload an install photo, and your 1-Year Fit Guarantee extends to 18 months total — 6 extra months of the same coverage. Registration is optional; the base 12 months apply whether or not you register.

Do I have to register to be covered?
No. The 1-Year Fit Guarantee is automatic on every order from the day it ships — no registration and no receipt required. Registering simply lets us find your order instantly, and registering with an install photo extends coverage to 18 months total.
What counts as a "fit" problem versus normal wear?
A fit problem is the product not matching your vehicle as the listing described — loose, gapping, or the wrong shape from day one. Normal wear is gradual change from months of use, like softening or light fading, which isn't covered.
My dog scratched the cover. Is that covered?
No — pet chewing and scratching fall under accidental damage and aren't covered by the guarantee. Our fabric is built to be pet-friendly and easy to clean, but it isn't chew-proof.
How fast will I hear back after I file a claim?
We reply within 1–2 business days. Including your order number and a clear photo up front usually lets us resolve the claim in that first reply.
Do I need to keep my receipt?
No. We look up your purchase by order number and email. If you registered your order, we already have everything on file.
